I’ll have more on this later, but here are some resources to get you started.

Future Majority discusses some of reasons why Facebook hasn’t been used to it’s full potential.

Illinoize explains how a State Rep. harnessed the energy of a Facebook group to build support for his legislation.

This SF Gate article explains how Facebook “Causes” came to be.

Beth Kanter discusses the pros and cons of Facebook activism. Ethan Zuckerman offers his take as well.

I’ll post a case study and best practices guide soon, but in the meantime, what are your experiences with Facebook activism?
